The OZ IMPS Solution enables mobile operators to build their own Mobile IM communities and immediately capitalize on the market opportunity of mobile Instant Messaging and Presence Services (IMPS). The truly end-to-end OZ Mobile IMPS Solution is composed of the OZ Mobile IMPS Server and the OZ Mobile IMPS Client.

The OZ Mobile IMPS Server is the most fully-featured server officially tested and compliant to the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) specifications for IMPS. The OZ Mobile IMPS Client delivers branded user interfaces that reflects the operator-owned mobile IM community.

The OZ Mobile IMPS Solution provides support to all the bearers, encodings and communication initiation request channels mandated by the OMA IMPS specifications; all the while minimizing service latency and maximizing operational efficiency. The OZ Mobile IMPS Solution is designed for extensive interoperability with existing SMS communities and with other IMPS systems using standard interconnect protocols. This allows subscribers to access other IM or Presence services and extends their communities, as per GSMA Interconnect Guidelines.

Combined with the OZ Mobile IMPS Client, or any standard OMA IMPS Client, the OZ Mobile IMPS Server enables operators to offer their subscribers a feature rich, real-time communication experience that consumers expect.

When the OZ Mobile IMPS Client is embedded or pre-installed into devices, it provides mobile operators with a quick and easy service roll-out that encourages service adoption. Alternatively, with downloadable clients, mobile operators can offer to their existing subscriber base immediate access to their IM accounts on their mobile phone. The OZ Mobile IMPS Server provides mobile operators with over-the-air (OTA) client upgrade capability, thereby ensuring an always up-to-date and a fully featured mobile IM service offering.
