OZ NAMES ANDRÉ TREMBLAY TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Former President & CEO of Microcell Telecommunications joins OZ

Montreal, Canada - January 13, 2005 - OZ, the leading enabler of standards-based mobile Instant Messaging and Presence Services, today announced the appointment of André Tremblay to the OZ Board of Directors.

André Tremblay has more than two decades of telecommunications management experience and a proven track record in successfully developing innovative companies. He has served as President and CEO of Microcell Telecommunications since 1995, where he led the firm from its conception through its different growth phases. In addition to his role at Microcell, Mr. Tremblay sits on the Board of Directors of the Communications Research Centre (a research arm of the federal government’s Department of Industry), as well as the boards of other private and public corporations. Prior to Microcell, Mr. Tremblay was an advisor to Charles Sirois, Chairman and CEO of Telesystem Ltd.; and he also held various executive positions within the Telesystem organization.
