OZ ENHANCES ITS MOBILE IM GATEWAY SOLUTION

New functionality and options makes Mobile IM Gateway 3.0 even more robust and feature rich

Montreal, Canada - December 19, 2005 - OZ today introduced version 3.0 of its Mobile Instant Messaging Gateway. This new version offers a series of enhancements that is designed to improve the mobile user’s mobile messaging experience and provide mobile operators with additional ways to increase revenue and data traffic.

Version 3.0 of the OZ Mobile IM Gateway, offers an exciting set of next-generation features allowing end-users to continue to extend their current PC-based messaging experience to their mobile devices. Picture IM messaging has been added allowing end-users to send and receive photos to other mobile devices and/or to PC’s; just as easily as they currently do on their desktop. The Mobile IM Gateway solution also comes with IM Session Transfer, this feature enables the end-user to seamlessly transfer an active PC-based IM session to their mobile devices either by selecting this feature specifically on their PC, or it can automatically occur during the logging out process of a PC-based IM session – this way end-users can continue their IM session while on-the-go.

Version 3.0 also brings enhanced marketing features to mobile operators, allowing them to tailor marketing or special promotional messages to specific handsets or IM providers to support new services or marketing programs. Additionally, Version 3.0 provides mobile operators with the unique over-the-air mobile IM client upgrade feature, which enables operators to deploy new features quickly to the market, with an automatic client upgrade or by suggesting new client upgrades to end-users. This allows IM functionality to seamlessly evolve and provide instant adoption of new features and services for mobile operator subscribers’.
