OZ TO DEPLOY MOBILE IM CLIENT FOR TELEFÓNICA MÓVILES ESPAÑA

OZ IMPS Client to provide Telefonica Móviles users in Spain with a rich mobile IM messaging experience

3GSM World Congress, Barcelona, Spain - February 13, 2006 - OZ, the leading mobile messaging solution provider, today announced that Telefónica Móviles España has chosen the OZ IMPS Client to power their operator branded mobile instant messaging (IM) service. Offered under the ‘movistar' brand, the OZ Client will work along with Colibria's IM and Presence Server to provide Telefónica Móviles subscribers in Spain, with the ability to stay connected in real-time with their contacts while they are on-the-go. Telefónica Móviles España will deploy this new service in Q2/2006; as a result, Telefónica expects to gain a competitive advantage by providing its subscribers in Spain, with another advanced mobile messaging option to stay connected.

Instant messaging continues to be one of the most popular methods of mobile communications; analyst group Forrester expects mobile IM to reach 44.68 billion messages a year by 2010. With a large number of Telefónica Móviles España subscribers already using their mobile phone for messaging, the OZ Mobile IMPS Client provides end-users with the benefit of being able to immediately be in touch with their online contacts.
